This is a great first step for MEDLIFE advocates who are interested in becoming international MEDLIFE leaders. The exact positions available will vary based on the university, and the application process will be facilitated by your on-campus Chapter, not MEDLIFE HQ. Contact your university or high school Coach for more.

The MEDLIFE Student Advisory Board (SAB) gives students who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to service and MEDLIFE the opportunity for greater responsibility and leadership within the international organization. These responsibilities include serving as a resource for new and existing Chapters, helping recruit new MEDLIFErs, fundraising, planning Service Learning Trips, and expanding the MEDLIFE Movement in general. They are the liaison between MEDLIFE HQ and our individual Chapters. Applicants must have 1+ years of E-Board experience at a well-established Chapter and are strongly encouraged to have attended an SLT. Contact your university or high school Coach for more.

Not only was I able to participate in a week long Mobile Clinic, shadowing doctors of all types of specialties including pharmacy, dentistry, gynecology, and more, but I was also able to learn about the culture and visit incredible places.

One thing that I really loved about this trip was that MEDLIFE made sure that the volunteers got an understanding of the complexity of issues that lead to underprivileged people in communities outside of the main city

Whether it was basketball with the local kids, assisting the doctors, talking with families, building washrooms, holding babies, or spending time with the people who were on the SLT with me, this was an amazing opportunity that I would do over and over again.
