School renovation projects are one of the powerful ways MEDLIFE aims to improve learning outcomes while also engaging with our partner communities through meaningful collaboration over improving their local facilities. At Manuel Casalino Gruive School, MEDLIFE volunteers collaborated with the community of 12 de Junio and recently completed a transformative school renovation, displaying how teamwork and care can completely uplift a space for students and teachers alike.
A Welcome Surprise for Students
After a well-deserved week off, students returned to an incredible surprise in their school! Our volunteers and community members spent the break working hand-in-hand to transform the school and make it a better environment that will foster learning and happy memories for the students. The renovation included new murals, floors, windows, a full paint job, and much more. Every corner of the school now reflects the energy and love poured into it. This project not only improved the physical space but also fostered a sense of pride and connection among students, teachers, community members, and volunteers.
